Restart After Effects
Close and reopen After Effects. The plugin will appear under Window > Extensions > GifGlide.
🚀 How to Use
Getting Started
Launch the Plugin: Go to Window > Extensions > GifGlide in After Effects
Authenticate: Click "Login via browser" for secure OAuth authentication
Search Compositions: Use the search bar to find compositions by name
View Details: See composition info including dimensions, frame rate, duration, and work area
Configure Export Settings
Quality: Adjust from 10-100 using slider or direct input
FPS: Set frame rate from 1-50 fps
Dimensions: Set custom width/height up to 4500px (aspect ratio lock available)
Output: Choose where to save your final GIF
Transparency: Enable alpha channel export (creates MOV/AVI first)
Advanced Settings (Optional)
Access Settings: Click beside user avatar → Settings
Email Notifications: Get download links via email (Premium)
Manual Render: Control Adobe Media Encoder settings (Premium)
Background Rendering: Use aerender for better performance
Convert and Monitor
Start Conversion: Click "Convert to GIF" to begin
Monitor Progress: View real-time updates and queue position
Continue Working: Use After Effects while conversion runs in background
Complete: GIF will be downloaded automatically in the location you chose
